Rustenberg Wines in Stellenbosch is seeking a new Marketing Liaison / Tasting Room Manager to join our team.
Main duties are:
- Represent the Rustenberg brand at trade shows and trade events
- Be willing to travel intermittently and work with both the trade and customers
- Conduct wine dinners and events
- Guest liaison and sales, including Direct to Customer and online sales
- Conduct VIP Tastings and Tours, as well as manage large specialty groups
- Oversee, manage, train, and lead our team of wine ambassadors
- Stock control and management of all tasting room supplies
- Dispatch of all online orders and samples
- Assist with Social Media and PR activities
- Manage stock availability and vintage changes on our online store
- Responsible for cleanliness, presentation, hygiene and maintenance of the tasting room
Minimum requirements :
- At least Grade 12, preferably with tertiary marketing qualification
- Minimum WSET 2 or similar wine qualification
- 3-5 years’ experience in similar position
- Love for and knowledge of the wine industry
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Afrikaans
- Excellent organisational, administrative, financial and management skills
- Must have driver’s license and own vehicle
A market-related remuneration is offered, according to qualification and experience.
